Herus: Russia blocked coal supplies to Ukraine from Kazakhstan
The Russian Federation has stopped the transit of coal from Kazakhstan to Ukraine. All related deliveries in November are blocked. This was announced by the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy, Housing and Utility services Andrii Herus in his Telegram.
"Technically, the blockage occurs at the level of Russian Railways, which does not confirm the passage of cars with such coal through the Russian Federation," Herus wrote.
According to him, the corresponding restriction is imposed only on thermal coal and does not apply to the supply of coking coal.
As a reminder, at the end of October, Russia suspended supplies of thermal coal to Ukraine.
