The Cabinet of Ministers and NEURC will check the owners of TPPs and CHPPs

The Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities, Andrii Herus, said that unscheduled inspections of the companies-owners of TPPs and CHPs will be carried out until November 15 to ensure they have guaranteed fuel supplies, he wrote on his Facebook page.

"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, together with NEURC, by November 15, must conduct unscheduled inspections of the companies-owners of TPPs and CHPs regarding compliance with the licensing conditions for providing guaranteed fuel supplies," the message says.

He clarified this was provided for by the protocol decision of the NSDC of October 22, 2021.

To recap, Russia has stopped supplies of thermal coal to Ukraine.

Earlier, the Ministry of Energy said how much coal was imported in November.
