PM instructed minister to personally control payments to miners
The Prime Minister instructed the Minister of Energy to control the payment of wages to miners.
Halushchenko was instructed to control the process of timely payments by market participants for shipped products so that the funds would be used to pay salaries to miners in the coming days.
More than UAH 700 million will be allocated to pay off debts to miners of state-owned coal mining enterprises. In addition, about UAH 90 million more will be redistributed from the budget programs of the Ministry of Energy due to cost savings.
Denys Shmyhal also instructed the Ministry of Energy to make a report on the implementation by the directors of mines of the order of the Cabinet of Ministers by the end of the week to allocate 80% of sales of products to the payment of salaries to miners.
To recap, Volunvuhillia illegally produced products worth millions of hryvnias.
Earlier, the Ministry of Energy transferred UAH 300 million to miners, they came out to protest.
