Coal stocks in the warehouses of thermal power plants have decreased by 7.7% since the beginning of the month, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the data of the Ministry of Energy.
If on July 1 there were 1.28 million tons of coal at TPPs, then by July 12 they decreased by 98.8 thousand tons to 1.18 million tons.
As of July 12, with a daily supply of 41.3 thousand tons to TPPs, the stations burned 51.8 thousand tons.
In particular, stocks of G grade coal – the most demanded type of thermal coal – have decreased by 11% since the beginning of the month, to 925 thousand tons.
The lowest stocks of anthracite grade coal were recorded at Tripolskaya TPP (grade A) – at 17 thousand tons, which is enough for 7 days of operation of the station.
To recap, the Ministry of Energy reported that irreducible coal stocks and schedules for its accumulation will be determined for all enterprises of the fuel and energy complex.
