Lvivvuhillya mines temporarily lost power

On the night of December 22-23, 6 mines of the Lvivvuhillya state enterprise temporarily lost power. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection.

The mines were disconnected from the electric power due to the requirement of an advance payment from the “last resort supplier” of the regional power grid.

At the same time, the company accumulated debts from generations for shipped coal in October, November, and December.

The Ministry noted that the situation of electricity supply in the mines of the state enterprise Lvivvuhillya is regulated.

“The light in the mines has been restored”,  the report said.

Recall that the Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection of Ukraine Oleksiy Orzhel considers it inappropriate to combine state-owned coal assets within a single holding.

Earlier it was reported that the losses of Lvivvuhillya for 2019 amounted to UAH 270 million.
