By the end of this year, 140 MW of solar power plants in the Dnipropetrovsk region will be commissioned with the participation of Hero Future Energies Global Limited (Great Britain) developer, the Ministry press service announced it due to results of the meeting of the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining and Hero Future Energies Global Limited representatives.
The Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining already held such a meeting in autumn 2018.
In autumn 2018, the company MAIN Group Ukraine announced the launching of the construction project of 85 MW of SPP in the Dnieper River with the involvement of a contractor as represented by Hero Future Energies Global. The planned investment volume is 90 million euros. For the construction the city council of the Dnieper allocated 175 hectares of land for rent for twenty-five years.
MAIN Group Ukraine is a company established in 2010. Its main shareholder is the French company Ribour Participations, which owns the French Ingeliance Group.
In January 2018 in Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk region) a project for the construction of a 10.5 MW SPP was implemented by MAIN Group Ukraine. The Canadian company TIU Canada invested 11 million euros.
Earlier it was reported that the first stage of the Ukrainian plant for the production of solar panels KNESS PV was put into operation in Vinnytsia. The new plant will produce solar panels for residential, commercial and industrial solar power plants. The rated power of the panels is from 270 to 370 W, which corresponds to the highest technological requirements of modern manufacturers of equipment for the construction of solar modules.
