Guaranteed Buyer prepares a letter of claim to Ukrenergo due to payments at the feed-in tariff

State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer made the second advance payment to electricity producers at the feed-in tariff for September 2019. The amount of payments is 750 million UAH.

“The company got square with electricity producers from alternative sources (PAS) by funds from the sale of electricity on “the day-ahead” market and “the intraday market”, as it has not received an advance payment from PJSC NPC Ukrenergo”, the statement said.

As of September 26, NPC Ukrenergo did not transfer funds to the state-owned enterprise.

The company noted that, by a letter on September 23, 2019, NPC Ukrenergo provided the forecasted value of the service to ensure an increase in the share of electricity production from alternative energy sources in two decades of September 2019, and said that in order to make timely transfers of funds to electric energy producers at the feed-in tariff, it must be completed by September 24, 2019.

Guaranteed Buyer is preparing a letter of claim to NPC Ukrenergo due to a violation of the Procedure for the purchase of electric energy at the feed-in tariff.
