Guaranteed Buyer continues to settle for the last year

The State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer is paying off the producers of renewable electricity for the last year, the press service reports.

In particular, on April 29, the company received UAH 1 billion from NPC Ukrenergo to pay off the debt of 2020. The funds became the final transfer within the loan allocated to Ukrenergo and were equally distributed between the renewable energy producers and the State Enterprise NNEGC Energoatom in accordance with the resolution of NEURC.

The current level of payment for renewable electricity produced in 2020 is 66%.

Besides, the company has made an additional payment for the current year: “green” electricity produced in January, February and March was paid for by 93%.

To recap, a Lithuanian investor in renewable energy initiated international arbitration against Ukraine for €11.5 million.

As reported, another 2 thousand households installed solar stations in the first quarter of this year.
