Guaranteed Buyer paid only 73% of money to “green” electricity producers in November

State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer made a payment to producers of electricity from renewable energy sources (RES) for November electricity on January 8, 2020. This was reported by the press service.

The company noted that the payment for renewable generation was allowed by the funds received from the sale of electricity on the day-ahead market. Guaranteed Buyer paid UAH 238 million.

In total, the enterprise paid UAH 1.6 billion for commercial products in November. The total level of payment for November is still at 73%.

They also noted that the debt from Ukrenergo does not make it possible to fully settle with the producers of “green” electricity. The debt of NPC Ukrenergo to Guaranteed Buyer for November is UAH 849 million.

“In addition, the transmission system operator did not pay off Guaranteed Buyer for December”, the statement said.

Earlier it was reported that in 2019, €3.7 billion were invested in 4,500 MW of renewable electricity capacities in Ukraine.
