Guaranteed Buyer paid for renewable electricity produced in October by 98%

On December 18, 2020, the state enterprise Guaranteed Buyer paid from renewable electricity producers UAH 160 million for electricity in October, the press service reports.

The level of payment for commercial products for the specified period reached more than 98%. In just one month, renewable generation transferred UAH 3.79 billion at the FIT.

It should be reminded that renewable energy producers doubt that Guaranteed Buyer will pay off 40% of the debt by the end of 2020.

As reported, investors will appeal in court the decision of NEURC to pay a fee to Guaranteed Buyer to ensure its participation in international arbitration.
