The State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer on September 4, 2020 paid extra to producers of electricity from renewable sources up to 100% of the cost of electricity at FIT generated in 20 days in August in the amount of UAH 558 million, the press service reports.
The additional payment was made by funds received from trading activities and through the repayment of debts for the settlement of imbalances – UAH 358 million, as well as funds received from NPC Ukrenergo as payment for the service to ensure an increase in the share of electricity production from renewables – UAH 200 million.
“Note that within 20 days of the billing month, the company purchased about 704 thousand MWh of clean electricity in renewable generation with a total cost of about UAH 3.35 billion,” the statement said.
