Guaranteed Buyer transferred the next payment for renewable electricity produced in August

On October 18, 2021, the state enterprise Guaranteed Buyer paid UAH 150 million for renewable electricity produced in August, the press service reports.

“In total, in August, the company purchased over 1206 thousand MWh of carbon-neutral electricity. Almost UAH 4 billion, which has already been paid by Guaranteed Buyer for the specified period, cover 65% of the cost of the goods,” the message says.

To recap, Guaranteed Buyer partially paid for the "green" electricity in October.

As reported, Ukrenergo received state guarantees for the issue of Eurobonds to pay off debts to the renewable electricity producers.
