Guaranteed Buyer announces the longest auction for the sale of renewable electricity

Guaranteed Buyer SE held the longest auction for the sale of renewable electricity, which lasted seven hours.

Guaranteed Buyer sold more than 27 thous. MWh of base and daily load at the auction, the press service reports.

The auction offered electricity to be produced in December by solar and wind power plants, from biomass and biogas, as well as using hydropower generated only by micro, mini and small hydropower plants.

The most expensive, according to the results of the auction, was solar power, UAH 3290/MWh.

The company earned UAH 100 million from the sale of electricity.

To recap, the director of Guaranteed Buyer resigned two weeks after the appointment.
