More than 297 household solar power plants were connected to DTEK's Kyiv regional power grids in six months of 2020. Now there are more than 2,000 prosumers (households with solar power plants up to 50 kW, which independently produce electricity for their needs, and sell the surplus to the network) in Kyiv region, the press service of DTEK reports.
Most of the producers of renewableenergy are households in the Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district – 344, Brovary – 263 and Boryspil – 235.
According to the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, for six months of 2020, households installed more than 25.6 thousand SPPs with a total capacity of 658 MW. Kyiv region is one of the 5 leaders with the largest number of SPPs of private households. Dnipropetrovsk region has 3398, Ternopil region – 2200, Kyiv region – 2082, Ivano-Frankivsk region – 1900 and Zakarpattia region – 1600.
Recall that solar panels were installed on the building of the Ministry of Regional Development.
