Acting Energy Minister Olha Buslavets held a meeting with investors in the alternative energy industry – director of H2 LLC Andriy Zhovner and CEO of Yom Capital Ltd Walter Komarek, the press service reports.
The parties discussed potential projects for the construction of data centers and a hydrogen plant to load domestic generating capacities. It is noted that investors are interested in the southern region, where there is a significant surplus of electricity, cooperation with NNEGC Energoatom, Ukrhydroenergo.
The creation of new electricity consumers will help load unused generating capacities and unload transmission system elements.
Olha Buslavets expressed readiness to support promising projects from the Ministry.
“We welcome and support innovative ideas for the development of domestic energy, in particular, increasing electricity consumption. We are ready to provide the necessary support from the Ministry within the framework of our powers,” she said.
