Equipment for solar farms will be produced at the factory in Odesa

S-Engineering LLC is starting the production of inverting equipment for solar farms.

German AEG Power Solutions signed a license agreement with a number of Ukrainian companies in late February. It gives the right to produce inverters for solar farms using AEG technology.

An inverter is a device that converts direct current, derived from solar cells, into alternating current. Despite the fact that Ukraine is now actively building alternative energy facilities, one of the main components of solar farm is inverter, which has not been produced in Ukraine yet.

Odesa producers decided to purchase a license for premium technology for the production of inverters up to 1000 kWA for use in industrial solar farms from the German AEG Power Solutions.

“We will be the first and unique in this sector. We already have many years of experience working with world leaders in the field of energy. Our products are not inferior to German quality. And we will prove once again that our Ukrainian producer can fully implement high-quality German technology at its facilities, with its staff, from Ukrainian components. We will do it in a professional and accessible manner for the Ukrainian market”, said the Chairman of the Board of S-Engineering, Batyr Annayev.

Engineering and production company S-Engineering has been designing and manufacturing complex switchboard equipment for food industry, oil and gas, port complexes for more than 12 years.

This equipment will be produced jointly with the Metropolia group of companies, which is a major developer of solar energy facilities in Ukraine. The kits will be produced under the SEMAG brand, consisting of the initial letters of the signatory companies.
