Naftogaz has installed its first electric charging station

NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine installed the first electric charging station as part of the WeEnergy pilot project. This was reported by the press service.

“The installed complexes of the EUA-2 type are suitable for all types of electric vehicles of world brands, and the average charging time is no more than 2.5 hours,” the company said.

The cost of the service at WeEnergy station is 4.5 UAH/kWh.

You can pay using a mobile phone and a special application through your personal account, or using the WeEnergy card.

The partner in the implementation of the pilot project was ElectroUA, one of the leading players in the development of charging station infrastructure in Ukraine.

With the launch of the first electric charging station, Naftogaz is exploring the prospect of large-scale entry into the market of such complexes in Ukraine. In the case of the commercial success of the pilot project, the company plans to deploy a network of electric chargers throughout the country.

Naftogaz is focused on the maximum implementation of the principles of sustainable development. The key priority of the company in implementing the environmental strategy is initiatives in the field of decarbonization and renewable energy. In particular, in 2020, the total planned budget of the company for environmental programs is almost 400 million UAH.
