Alternative energy producers received UAH 300 million in advance payment for February

State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer made an advance payment to producers of electricity from renewable sources for the second decade of February. This was reported by the press service.

It is noted that the company transferred UAH 300 million to an alternative generation.

The payment was carried out partially – the payment level is more than 30%.

“For payment, Guaranteed Buyer sent the funds received from the sale of electricity on the market, as NPC Ukrenergo did not transfer advance payments to the enterprise”,   the statement said.

Guaranteed Buyer also reports that as of February 25, 2020, Ukrenergo's debts amounted to UAH 2.5 billion: UAH 0.6 billion for January and UAH 1.9 billion for 20 days in February.

Earlier it was reported that Guaranteed Buyer received losses due to the market situation.

To recap, an international business forum in the field of renewable energy REEX (Renewable Energy Expo) will be held on March 3 - 5, 2020, in Kyiv, at the Congress Hall “Ukrainian House”.
