Renewable electricity producers received advance payment for February

On February 14, 2020 SE Guaranteed Buyer made an advance payment to producers of electricity from renewable energy sources for the first ten days of February. This was reported by the press service.

The company paid UAH 300 million at a feed-in tariff. The level of payments for the first decade of the month is 33%.

The company noted that the source for the advance payment is the funds that the state-owned enterprise received from the sale of electricity on the day-ahead market (DAM).

Guaranteed Buyer noted that Ukrenergo did not transfer the advance payment for 10 days of February.

The company continues settlements with renewable energy sources for January 2020. Guaranteed Buyer paid UAH 300 million for “green” energy.

The payment was carried out by funds received from Ukrenergo – the company partially repaid the debt to Guaranteed Buyer for the second decade of January, having paid UAH 300 million of the expected UAH 472 million.

Thus, the amount of payments under the “green” tariff for January reached UAH 1.4 billion, which is more than 67%.

Recall that the producers of "green" generation in January received 430 million UAH.
