On February 12, Guaranteed Buyer transferred UAH 430 million to producers of “green” electricity in January. This was reported by the press service.
In total, Guaranteed Buyer paid UAH 1.1 billion for electricity in January. The overall level of payments in January amounted to 53%.
It is noted that the company is working on the completion of payments to producers of electricity from renewables for 2019. The company has 100% paid for renewable energy for July-November, paying more than UAH 15 billion at a feed-in tariff. The current level of payments for December is 56%.
“The company will have the opportunity to finalize payments for 2019 after the receipt of funds from universal service providers”, the company said.
To recap, the Regulator reduced the amount of financial obligations of Ukrenergo to pay compensation for the reimbursement of a feed-in tariff to Guaranteed Buyer by almost UAH 1.7 billion.
