Clean electricity producers have received UAH 5.7 billion since the beginning of the year

SC Guaranteed Buyer has purchased about 3470 MWh of electricity from clean electricity producers at a feed-in tariff since the beginning of 2020, the press service says.

As of May 22, 2020, more than UAH 5.7 billion was paid in favor of renewables. At the same time, electricity was paid 100% in January and 98% in February. According to a feed-in tariff for March and April, the enterprise was partially payed for debts of NPC Ukrenergo.

It is noted that Ukrenergo has not made a single payment in favor of Guaranteed Buyer for the services provided in April and May. Currently, the total debt of NPC Ukrenergo is UAH 13.3 billion, of which:

  • UAH 0.4 billion - for January;
  • UAH 2.6 billion - for February;
  • UAH 3.0 billion - for March;
  • UAH 5.9 billion - for April;
  • UAH 1.4 billion - for May.
