As of July 30, the level of payments of the State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer to electricity producers from renewable energy sources has amounted to 27% since the beginning of the year, Interfax reports.
According to the information, the company fully paid for the electricity produced by renewable energy sources in January-February, in March this figure was 43%, in April-May – 5%, in June – 4% and for 20 days of July – 5%.
The company has acquired 5.817 million MWh of "green" electricity since the beginning of the year, while paying UAH 7.6 billion.
Guaranteed Buyer notes that the source of non-payment of debts to renewable energy facilities is the debt of NPC Ukrenergo, which reached UAH 18.2 billion as of that date.
At the same time, Guaranteed Buyer has paid an average of 57% since the beginning of the year to NNEGC Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo. According to it, the enterprise fully settled with these generating companies in January and March, by 9% in February, by 29% in April, by 2.7% in May, by 51% in June, by 60% in July. In general, Guaranteed Buyer paid UAH 11.7 billion.
The volume of electricity purchased by the company from these generating companies amounted to 31.671 million MWh.
