Ukrenergo owes UAH 750 million to Guaranteed Buyer

As of March 26, 2020, the debt of NPC Ukrenergo to Guaranteed Buyer for imbalances of electric energy according to the issued invoices is about UAH 750 million. This was reported by the press service.

According to the information on the website, the total debt of the company to the parties responsible for the balance is UAH 2.1 billion.

“It should be noted that debts to Guaranteed Buyer are formed for the period from November 2019, while with other market participants settlements are carried out for February of the current year”,  the message said.

The company notes that significant amounts of debt for imbalances in electric energy and significant delays in their payment negatively affect the overall financial results of the enterprise and the state of its settlements with electricity producers.

Guaranteed Buyer paid UAH 450 million for electricity produced by renewable energy sources in March.
