A wind farm with a capacity of 100 MW will be built in Kherson region

Prydniprovsky Lany LLC plans to build a Prydniprovska wind farm with a capacity of 100 MW in the Belozirsky district of Kherson region, according to the website of the Unified Register of Environmental Impact Assessment.

The wind power plant will be installed on an area of ​​6450 hectares, it will consist of 22 wind turbines with capacities from 4.5 to 5.7 MW each.

The company also plans to build a 35/154 kV central transformation substation, a control room, and an overhead power line with a voltage of 154 kV from the central transformation substation to the existing 154 kV overhead line (2.1 km).

It is expected that a wind farm will generate 350 GWh of electricity per year.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Prydniprovsky Lany LLC is owned by the Belgian company Greenworks Holding, owned by Tom Henson.

Earlier it was reported that the Norwegian company would build a wind farm in Ukraine with a capacity of 742.5 MW. €1.1 billion will be invested in the construction of a wind farm.
