Guaranteed Buyer paid more than UAH 18 billion for renewable electricity in the first quarter of 2021

The State Enterprise Guaranteed Buyer has paid more than UAH 18 billion to renewable energy producers since the beginning of 2021, the press service reports.

In particular, in January producers received UAH 4.4 billion from the enterprise at the FIT, in February – UAH 7.5 billion, in March – more than UAH 6 billion. It is noted that the company pays for both commercial products of the current periods and the electricity it purchased in 2020.

Since the beginning of the year, the level of payments for the past period has been increased to 63%. At the same time, the average percentage of the payment in 2021 is about 90%.

As reported, Guaranteed Buyer made a payment for the renewable electricity produced in 2020.
