United States will build wind farm with a cost of $1 billion

In the US state of Idaho, a 1000 MW wind farm will be built. Investment in the Lave Ridge Wind project is about $1 billion, Ecotown reports.

According to the project, the power plant will be built in 2022. The wind park will be not only the largest in Idaho, but also one of the largest wind farms in the world.

The investing company Magic Valley Energy is a subsidiary of LS Power, a power generation and transmission company with projects throughout the United States. This will be the first LS Power wind farm in Idaho.

After the construction of the wind farm is completed, it will be led by 20 full-time employees.

It was previously reported that America’s wind farms produced more electricity for the first time than hydropower plants.
