A daft law on the restructuring of a feed-in tariff was introduced to the Verkhovna Rada

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine registered the draft law No.3658 “On amendments to some laws of Ukraine regarding the improvement of the conditions for supporting the production of electric energy from alternative energy sources” in the Verkhovna Rada, Energoreforma reports.

The draft law No.36567 on amending the law “On the Electricity Market” was also registered.

So far, there are no texts of legislative initiatives on the parliament website.

Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine signed Memorandum of Understanding on the settlement of problematic issues in the field of renewable energy with investors on Wednesday, June 10.

The document provides that renewable energy producers accept the terms of voluntary restructuring of feed-in tariffs, providing for their reduction. In particular, tariff reduction by 15% is envisaged for all electric power generating facilities, which use solar energy, and 7.5% for facilities generating electric energy from wind energy.

Earlier it was reported that the managing partner of the IMEPOWER group of companies, Yurii Kubrushko, believed that the terms of the memorandum were tough for renewable energy sources.
