1822 private solar power plants were installed in Dnipropetrovsk region in 2019, Ecotown reports.
Over the past year, 41 million kWh of electricity was received from home SPPs by the integrated network, and owners of solar stations received UAH 180 million of income.
As of January 1, 2020, 2,704 households in Dnipropetrovsk region produce electricity for their own needs, and the excess is sold to the grid. Most home SPPs are located in Nikopol and Novomoskovsk regions.
It should be noted that in 2019, €3.7 billion were invested in renewable energy in Ukraine.
As reported earlier, the Verkhovna Rada Committee supported the abolition of tax breaks for imported equipment for renewables.
Starting from April 2020, “green” energy will be sold through Prozorro.Sales auctions.
